BDHprojects is an Architectural design & documentation firm specialising in BA documentation.
Based in the Canberra region, BDHprojects proprietor, Bernie den Hertog B.Arch, has been working for over 26 years, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his diverse working background.
Having contracted to many local architectural firms (DNA architects, Strine Design, Geoff Lovie & Assoc) to larger scale companies such as BVN Architecture (formerly Bligh Voller Nield), SOCOG (Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games – 2000) and Village Building.
Our wide range of experience has been gained from the completion of a large number of projects from residential apartment developments, industrial warehouses, commercial offices, retail tenancies, childcare facilities, community facilities, mixed use developments, high rise apartment towers, through to multi-unit complexes.
We focus on residential multi-unit and Industrial developments within the ACT and surrounding NSW region.
We are driven by a design ethos that buildings are a facade – we can make anything look good.

We can undertake projects from a conceptual sketch plan phase, through to design & documentation for approvals.
Our Work
Design: From block feasibility studies to yield analysis, we can give you an idea of the capacity or potential yield of your land prior to the commencement of any sketches. We work out the constraints on a block (Building Envelope, parking generation / thereby building scale) opportunities / constraints (vistas, signage opportunities, vehicular impediments, regulations prohibiting certain built forms, BCA requirements) and desired outcomes into a built form.
Documentation: Utilising a mix of 2D and 3D CAD software, we can draw up accurate plans and elevations of the proposal, including shadow diagrams, sections, shaded elevations and perspectives.
Customer Relations: At BDHprojects, our highest priority is happy clients. You are important to us, if that entails meeting an “impossible” deadline, you can expect us to go the extra mile for your business.
